Refund & Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. This policy explains what happens if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment at DZ Beauty Birmingham.
1. Booking deposits
When you book online, you pay a flat £10 deposit to secure your appointment. Your deposit goes toward the cost of your treatment — the remaining balance is paid at your appointment. The exact amount is shown clearly during the booking process.
2. Your right to cancel — distance selling
If you book online and have not yet attended your appointment, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase and receive a full refund of your deposit under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This right lapses once your appointment has begun.
To exercise this right, please contact us before your appointment begins (see section 4 below for contact details). We will process any eligible refund to your original payment method within 5 to 10 working days.
3. Deposit refund rules
Refundable
Your deposit is refundable if both of the following are true:
- You cancel within 48 hours of making the booking, AND
- Your appointment is more than 48 hours away
Non-refundable
Your deposit is non-refundable if either of the following is true:
- More than 48 hours have passed since you made the booking
- Your appointment is within the next 48 hours
No-shows
If you do not attend your appointment without letting us know, the deposit will be forfeited.
4. How to cancel or reschedule

Please include your name and appointment date so we can locate your booking quickly.
5. Refunds
If your cancellation meets the criteria above (including your statutory 14-day right, where it applies), your deposit will be refunded to your original payment method.
- Please allow 5 to 10 working days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card provider.
6. Appointments cancelled by us
In the rare event that we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment (for example, due to illness or an emergency), we will contact you as soon as possible and offer either:
- A rescheduled appointment at a time that suits you, or
- A full refund including your deposit.
