How to Make Your Lash Lift Last as Long as Possible

The Critical First 24 Hours

The 24 hours following your lash lift are the most important period for the result. The chemical bonds that have been reformed in the new lifted position need time to fully harden and stabilise. During this period, avoid: water, steam, or humidity of any kind (this includes exercise, showering above the face, cooking steam, and crying — we know that last one is tricky), oil-based products near the eyes, rubbing or touching the lashes, and mascara or eye makeup.

Ongoing Habits That Preserve Your Lift

• Avoid waterproof mascara — it requires oil-based removers that weaken the lifted structure over time
• Remove eye makeup gently using a water-based micellar cleanser rather than an oil-based remover
• Avoid excessive rubbing of the eyes — friction gradually straightens the lift
• Apply a nourishing lash serum or conditioning oil (castor oil works well) nightly to keep lashes healthy and supple
• Sleep on your back if possible — sleeping face-down flattens the curl over time
• Avoid prolonged exposure to chlorinated swimming pools, which can dry out and weaken lash structure

When to Rebook

We recommend waiting at least 6 weeks before rebooking — over-processing lashes too frequently can cause dryness and brittleness.
